AZ Hot Sauce Lacrosse Director Dan Lannon introduces Cade Van Raaphorst from Dukes Mens Lacrosse to the young summer camp attendees. Cade is a native to Phoenix Arizona and has lettered five years for the varsity team at Desert Vista High School.
Cade spoke with the AZ Hot Sauce Lacrosse camp about what it takes to be competitive at each level while improving yourself as an individual and team player.
A little about Cade…
In 2017 Cade started all 18 games on close defense for Duke … USILA All-America third team … All-ACC … First close defenseman to earn All-ACC honors since Tony McDevitt did so in 2008 … He also was one of three underclassmen selected to the 2017 All-ACC squad … Was instrumental in Duke’s defense leading the ACC and ranking 12th nationally with an 8.39 goals against average.
